Staging can be a crucial element to getting the most money for a home and is often a requirement requested of an agent, in order to secure a listing. Many Buyers struggle with emotionally connecting to a space or have difficulty visualizing their family in someone else's home.
Staging is an important part of marketing a home and is designed to make your listing appeal to the widest number of potential buyers. Services can range from simply rearranging furniture, de-cluttering, and cleaning, to repair, painting, lighting, and storage of large furniture.
Every project is different but the objective is always the same; execute improvements that translate into more net dollars for the vendor. Vacant homes can require physical changes as well as staging of furniture, art and accessories for key rooms to best showcase the home and we are well prepared to handle these larger projects.
Whatever the need or size of the project, Hausmart Staging is designed to be executed quickly and efficiently because a vendor and agent does not want to delay the selling of a home once that decision has been made and we do this in the most cost effective way because we recognize there is a point where improvements will no longer contribute to a higher sale price.
The First Step
The first step is consultation which starts at $150 and often the suggestions from this consultation can be executed by the homeowners themselves saving them or the agent, money while having a positive impact on the homes marketability.
Full staging of occupied homes starts at $500 and may include furniture rearrangement, de-cluttering, and a wide number of improvements depending on the project.
Full staging of a vacant home starts at $1200 and will involve project management and rental of selected furniture, art and accessories and involves selecting the right furnishings for the style of the home whether contemporary or more traditional.
